Removing your data — Dear Self

Dear Self has no account and no server, so there is nothing for us to delete on our end — we hold none of your data. Everything lives on your device, under your control.
Remove everything from your device
- Delete individual pages inside the app at any time, or
- Uninstall Dear Self, which clears all of the app's local data from your device (pages, letters, habits, reminders, settings).
Backups you made
If you saved an encrypted backup to your own cloud (iCloud, Drive, etc.), it lives in your storage — delete it there, the way you would any other file. We have no copy.
